Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Asharqia Chamber Entrepreneurship Incubator, organized a meeting titled “Financing Entrepreneurial Projects,” in cooperation with the Social Development Bank, presented by the Bank’s enterprise financing specialist Nasser Al-Mutairi, on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Incubator’s headquarters in Asharqia Chamber Tower. During the meeting, many topics related to entrepreneurship were discussed, in the presence of a notable number of interested parties and entrepreneurs.
Al-Mutairi reviewed the Bank’s role in awareness and support programs, savings products, financing for individuals, financing for establishments and the non-profit sector, and the financing initiatives available to them. He noted that the Bank provides financial and non-financial services and purposeful, effective savings programs, supported by qualified human resources, to contribute to social development, build partnerships, spread financial awareness, and promote the culture of self-employment among all segments of society.
Al-Mutairi affirmed to the attendees that the Social Development Bank is one of the important pillars of development in empowering citizens by providing accessible financing products and programs, contributing an effective and influential role in the journey of building and development and driving the national economy. It is also one of the most important development institutions playing an effective and influential role in the journey of social and economic development within the nation’s components. Al-Mutairi explained that the “financing for individuals” options offered by the Bank revolve around education financing, productive families financing, direct and indirect financing, seasonal financing, renovation financing, cash financing, group loans, asset financing, and the financing product directed at specific groups, which include widows, divorced women, people with disabilities, and beneficiaries of the Martyrs, Injured, Prisoners, and Missing Persons Fund (Kanaf).
Al-Mutairi also noted that the Bank offers competitive, subsidized products for existing or new entrepreneurial establishments through several programs: Excellence Financing to support promising and new establishments; Entrepreneurs Financing to support the assets and operating costs of entrepreneurial projects and startups; Ofoq Financing; Excellence Financing for Companies; Electronic Applications Financing; Capital Expansion Financing; the Payroll and Rent products; the Franchise Program, an electronic service provided by the Social Development Bank that allows entrepreneurs to apply for franchise projects; and the Fast Track Franchise Program, which aims to empower investors by benefiting from leading brands in the franchise field.
