Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45551538/20), dated (09/01/1448 AH), referring to the email received from the Saudi Ports Authority dated (22/7/2026), which includes the recommendation of the Business Support Committee at the Kingdom’s ports, at its seventh meeting, that the Authority, in cooperation with the Federation, organize a workshop to introduce the new regulatory requirements and procedures relating to the requirement for trucks to pass through the marshalling area before reaching the gates of Jeddah Islamic Port, effective (19/11/1447 AH), corresponding to (3/7/2026), and to review the mechanisms for their application, contributing to raising the level of readiness and ensuring the effective application of the approved regulatory requirements. It has been decided to hold the workshop on Sunday (13/1/1448 AH), corresponding to (28/6/2026), at (10:00) a.m. via video conference (remotely).
