Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45550532/20), dated (21/12/1447 AH), referring to the letter of the Saudi Ports Authority No. (1/38/30596), dated (10/12/1447 AH), corresponding to (27/5/2026), which includes the Authority’s Circular No. (24) of 2026 regarding the update of the timeline for applying the calculation and collection of storage (ground) fees at the ports, and the controls for releasing goods from the port before payment of storage fees.
Instructions:
First: The Saudi Ports Authority announces the update of the effective application dates for the transfer of responsibility for calculating and collecting storage fees to the Saudi Ports Authority, according to the following table:

Second: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority shall calculate and collect storage fees for the periods prior to the effective application date of the transfer of responsibility to the Saudi Ports Authority, according to the dates specified in paragraph (First) above.
Third: This circular takes effect from its date and supersedes anything that conflicts with it.
