Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45549540/20), dated (3/12/1447 AH), referring to the Federation’s receipt of the letter of the Saudi Ports Authority No. (1/38/29438), dated (27/11/1447 AH), corresponding to (14/5/2026), which included Circular No. (19) of 2026 regarding the extension of the exemption period at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and Jubail Commercial Port as follows:
1- Increasing the exemption period for transit and transshipment cargo for containers, flatbeds, trailers, standard containers, and all categories of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code to (60) days at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and Jubail Commercial Port.
2- Increasing the exemption period from storage fees for containers, flatbeds, and trailers (empty import) to (20) days at King Abdulaziz Port and Jubail Commercial Port.
