Prohibition on the Use of the State Emblem, the Two Swords and the Palm Tree

Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45549222/19), dated (24/11/1447 AH), referring to the Ministry of Commerce telegram No. (30848), dated (19/11/1447 AH), corresponding to (6/5/2026), attached to the Ministry of Interior’s confidential and highly urgent telegram No. (296812), dated (17/11/1447 AH), corresponding to (4/5/2026), which refers to Royal Order No. (3587), dated (21/1/1440 AH), corresponding to (1/10/2018), regarding the provision of Article (Four) of the Basic Law of Governance issued by Royal Order No. (A/90), dated (27/8/1412 AH), corresponding to (1/3/1992), that “the State’s emblem is two crossed swords with a palm tree in the upper space between them,” and to Council of Ministers Resolutions No. (88), dated (23/8/1375 AH), corresponding to (4/4/1956), and No. (24), dated (7/2/1376 AH), corresponding to (11/9/1956), which prohibit the use of the State emblem “the two swords and the palm tree” on goods, merchandise, and other items.

Accordingly, the Federation hopes that everyone will refrain from using the State emblem “the two swords and the palm tree” on goods, merchandise, and other items.
