Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45548890/19), dated (19/11/1447 AH), referring to the letter of the Saudi Ports Authority No. (1/38/27769), dated (10/11/1447 AH), corresponding to (27/4/2026), which includes Circular No. (14) of 2026 regarding the controls for releasing goods from the port before payment of storage fees, as well as the Authority’s letter No. (1/38/27946), dated (12/11/1447 AH), corresponding to (29/4/2026), which includes the Authority’s Circular No. (16) of 2026 regarding the Authority’s update of the controls for releasing goods from the port before payment of storage fees. The controls referred to in Circular No. (14) of 2026 are currently applied at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam and will be applied at the remaining ports in conjunction with the effective application of the transfer of the calculation and collection of storage fees to the Saudi Ports Authority, according to the dates announced in due course.
