Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received an email from the Federation of Saudi Chambers dated (12/4/2026), referring to the telegram received from the Ministry of Commerce No. (28024), dated (20/10/1447 AH). Based on the immediate notification report issued by the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) on (8/10/1447 AH), corresponding to (27/3/2026), which states that highly pathogenic avian influenza has been brought under control in the departments of (Loire-Atlantique), (Vendee), (Deux-Sevres), (Calvados), and (Cotes-dArmor) in the French Republic and that no new outbreak of the disease has been recorded there, and after the Authority studied the health situation and reviewed the recommendations of the World Organisation for Animal Health set out in Article (10.4) of the Terrestrial Animal Health Code, which indicate that the ban may be lifted, the Authority’s Decision No. (40965/1), dated (17/10/1447 AH), corresponding to (5/4/2026), was issued lifting the temporary ban imposed on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, and their products from the departments of (Loire-Atlantique), (Vendee), (Deux-Sevres), (Calvados), and (Cotes-dArmor) in the French Republic.
