Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received an email from the Federation of Saudi Chambers dated (30/3/2026), referring to the letter received from the Transport General Authority No. (1/47/538), dated (7/10/1447 AH), regarding the Road Land Transport Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/188), dated (24/8/1446 AH), and with reference to the mechanism for regularizing the status of road land transport establishments in accordance with the provisions of the Road Land Transport Law and the Implementing Regulations for Motorcycle Rental Activities approved by Authority Board of Directors Decision No. (15/6 TR/2025/4), dated (1/3/1447 AH). The mechanism provides for granting licensees (before the entry into force of the Regulations) and licensees (after the entry into force of the Regulations) a grace period of six months from the date of entry into force, in accordance with the provision of paragraph (Third) of Article (Two) of the mechanism, which states:
“It is prohibited to practice the activities without obtaining the necessary license from the Authority, or to continue practicing the activities after the expiry or cancellation of the license or during its suspension period.” As well as the provision of paragraph (First) of Article (Fourteen), which states:
“The service provider must obtain an operating card for each motorcycle operating in any of the activities in accordance with the conditions and obligations set out in Article (Fourteen) and Article (Fifteen) of the Regulations.”
Whereas the grace period granted for regularizing status in accordance with the provisions of the articles referred to above ended on (13/9/1447 AH), corresponding to (2/3/2026)
The Transport General Authority urges the necessity of obtaining the necessary licenses from the Transport General Authority through the “Logisti” platform via the link: (naql.logisti.sa).
