Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received an email from the Federation of Saudi Chambers dated 27/09/1447 AH, attached to the Ministry of Commerce letter No. (26635), dated (26/09/1447 AH), which refers to the letter of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Agriculture No. (21063350), dated 21/09/1447 AH, which refers to the letter of His Excellency the Director General of the General Department of Public and Private Expenditures at the Ministry of Finance No. (30656), dated 14/09/1447 AH, which includes the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Finance of the recommendations contained in the minutes of the working team formed to study establishing governance for determining the maximum allowable retroactive disbursement of the infant formula and green fodder subsidies, as follows:
1. Granting companies importing infant formula for the age groups a grace period of no more than (one year).
2. Granting companies that are late in applying for the disbursement of the subsidy for green fodder imported before 2024 a grace period of no more than (five years). For new applications, companies are granted a period of no more than (one year) to benefit from the subsidy in light of the halt to the local cultivation of perennial green fodder, with the importance of submitting the required documents in this regard. The grace period for submitting a subsidy disbursement application is calculated from the date of the opened letter of credit, and application is effective from the beginning of 2026
