Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45546297/20), dated (8/9/1447 AH), which refers to the circular of the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region No. ( 3282), dated (8/8/1447 AH), attached to Council of Ministers Resolution No. ( 626), dated (15/11/1443 AH), approving the organizational arrangements of the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region. Based on Article (Four) of the same arrangements, and in view of the Regions Law issued by Royal Order No. (A/92), dated (27/8/1412 AH), and its Implementing Regulations, the Supervisory Committee of the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region, chaired by His Highness the Governor of the Region, issued its Decision No. ( Q 8/14/L/1447 AH), dated (12/5/1447 AH), corresponding to (03/11/2025), attached herewith, approving the governance of the relationship between the Emirate of Jazan Region and the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region, to address the overlap of roles and unify efforts, and assigning the Deputy Governor of the Emirate and the CEO of the Strategic Office to ensure its implementation and to report to the Supervisory Committee any challenges it may face under our supervision. Whereas the approved governance agreement between the Emirate of Jazan Region and the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region is an organizational reference for regulating the channels of correspondence and coordination on joint matters in accordance with the defined roles, in a manner that prevents the overlap of competencies and duplication of work, enhances institutional integration, and raises the efficiency of performance in the region’s development work, and whereas His Highness the Governor of the Region stresses that all entities adhere to the following:
First: Adhering, in correspondence and coordination, to the roles and channels established by the attached approved governance agreement for each of the Emirate of Jazan Region and the Strategic Office for the Development of Jazan Region, directing correspondence related to the work and competencies of the Strategic Office to the Strategic Office and not referring it to the Emirate of the Region, while observing the approved controls and classifications for the circulation of classified documents through official channels.
Second: Circulating the approved governance agreement and its annexes internally to the relevant departments and units of each entity, and including it among the work references when corresponding or coordinating with either party to the agreement.
