Initiative to Launch the Ramadan Sales Season

Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45545189/19), dated (20/8/1447 AH), which refers to the Federation’s receipt of an urgent telegram from the Ministry of Commerce No. (23152), dated (14/8/1447 AH), regarding the Ministry’s keenness to stimulate the commercial environment in everything that serves the business sector and consumers and achieves a balance between consumer protection and the development of commercial activity. The Ministry has announced the initiative to launch the “Ramadan Sales” season and its accompanying visual identity, which covers the blessed month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr for the year (1447 AH), from (13/8/1447 AH) until (7/10/1447 AH). The Ministry allows commercial establishments and online stores to apply for sales licenses electronically through the Ministry’s website (sales.mc.gov.sa), enabling establishments to issue licenses easily, print them, and display them to consumers without losing days from the annual sales balance.
The Federation urges all commercial establishments, the relevant committees, and members to prepare for, take part in, and engage with this initiative in a manner that achieves the desired goals and benefits citizens and the nation, while stressing compliance with the laws and rules governing sales.
