Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and would like to inform you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (45539262/19), dated (6/8/1447 AH), which refers to the letter of the Saudi Water Authority No. (2937/2), dated (24 Rabi’ Al-Thani 1447 AH), which includes the Authority’s intention to organize a workshop with specialists and potential investors to explore opportunities to enable private sector investment and enhance investment opportunities in off-grid water services (tankers), and to prepare the regulatory enablers for them. The Authority is studying business models for providing the service in a manner that enhances the participation of the private sector in improving the quality of the services provided to beneficiaries .
Accordingly, the Federation informs you of the date of the above workshop, which is Thursday, January 29, 2026, in the city of Riyadh at the Narcissus Hotel from ( 9:00 ) a.m. until ( 1:00 ) p.m. The workshop will include the following topics:
1- The legislation regulating water transport that stimulates investment in the sector.
2- The business model in off-grid water transport.
3- Investment opportunities in off-grid water transport services.
4- Discussion of the regulatory and operational aspects of providing the service.
