Businesswomen's Committees

The committees at the Asharqia Chamber seek to develop various economic sectors and overcome obstacles that limit their contribution to comprehensive development by providing distinguished services in following up on the committees' proposals and recommendations. Given the importance of women's economic and social participation as a partner in development, and as part of the Asharqia Chamber's efforts to strengthen communication between the Chamber and the private sector, as well as among stakeholders in different economic sectors, the Chamber established its first specialized committee for women in 2004.
