Workshop to Review the Impact of Marketing on Small Projects at the Asharqia Chamber
Thamer Haddad, Business Development Advisor, stated that the concept of marketing as an individual approach originated as a task driven by production and marketing products to potential buyers. However, as a collective and general approach, it has become centered on multiple segments and addressing them collectively. With the advancement of science, marketing has become more specialized and focused on categorizing customers and determining their personalities to understand their needs, desires, motivations, and purchasing habits, especially when discussing the customization of desires and interests.
During a virtual workshop organized by the AsharqiaChamber represented by the Women's Empowerment Center on Tuesday evening, titled "The Impact of Marketing on Small Projects," Haddad explained that marketing operations require talent and creativity along with learning techniques to influence and simulate the customer, persuading them and satisfying their desires, and managing their demands more effectively. The concept of marketing seeks to identify the desires and needs of the audience to study the gaps between the current reality for customers and the desired future we aspire to reach. Marketing encompasses identifying the target market, the scope of targeted customers, raising awareness about the product and service market, promoting them, building profitable and sustainable relationships with customers, and maintaining vitality and effectiveness.
Haddad emphasized the importance of marketing research, which focuses on identifying potential markets, analyzing competitors, fully understanding the target market, identifying customer segments, meeting their needs and desires, determining the products and services to be offered, setting the appropriate price, determining the competitive advantages to be provided, and how to deliver value through promotional methods.
Haddad also mentioned the use of digital platforms to support marketing plans, leading to artificial intelligence solutions developed to support shopping-related tasks. He highlighted content marketing, which is considered the most impactful as it focuses on creating tailored content to provide value to the customer and target audience, distributing content through posts, blogs, videos, high-quality images, accompanying text, and articles that help customers in their purchasing decisions, all done online.
Another marketing approach he discussed is personal marketing, which distinguishes individuals in their field and differentiates between the services and products offered to create a unique and personalized experience for each customer.
