Her Highness Princess Abeer girl Faisal bin Turki the wife of the Eastern Province Prince patronizes the events of the fifth edition of the women economic forum 2016, organized by Asharqia Chamber titled (Saudi women .. the power of effecct to lead the change)
will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of 23 to 24 Nov , in the Sheraton Hotel in Dammam.
The forum aims at strengthening the economic role of women, through reviewing of her needs as a businesswoman, and stating the ways to face the challenges she faces, as well as contributing to the active participation in the economic life of being a partner in development.
For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber said that the forum this year will witness the participation of some of the speakers who are specialists in economic affairs, in order to shed light on many of the issues that contribute to the empowerment of women in the economic field, and to stress the importance of their role in this matter.
He explained that the Forum with its fifth edition is an extension of the positive theses that the chamber is always keen about the importance of women economic role and its ability to drive development forward especially in light of what is currently seen in the country from a totall national vision achieved by men and women together.
Ataishan added that the forum comes as an extension of the journy, and a step to the previous successes in order to activate the role of women economically, socially and developmentally, pointing that previous versions of the Forum organized by the Chamber during the past years, experienced a significant interaction by women who participated actively to discuss several topics, saying: the Forum falls within a range of activities and events organized by the chamber to take care of businesswomen and developing their performance and improve their jobs.
Asharqia Chamber has organized four editions of the Women Economic Forum, the last was in 2014, under the title, (building the future .. with women vision), and has witnessed a crowd and resulted in a set of recommendations aimed at improving the economic role of women, with presenting their vision on the overall economic conditions and their ability to participate in the construction and development process.
