U.S. Trade Delegation visits the Eastern Chamber on Wednesday
U.S. Trade Delegation visits the Eastern Chamber on Wednesday (31/3/2009) consisting of 24 members & representing 19 American companies and institutions.
Delegation most activities are: (oil and gas, information technology, petrochemicals, insurance, engineering, banking, transport and communications, security, health care and construction).
This visit comes in light of the strong economic relations between the Kingdom and the United States of America. Where the Kingdom is the first trade partner in the Middle East for America, the volume of the trade exchange between the two countries exceeded 193 billion riyals in 2008 as imports rose to 45.9 billion Saudi riyals, while exports amounted to 147.4 billion riyals, and increased growth in trade volume by 20 per cent compared to the previous year.
