In cooperation with the Public Transport Authority, Asharqia Chamber would hold two workshops on the transportation of goods and renting cars next Thursday.
In cooperation with the Public Transport Authority, Asharqia Chamber will organize two specialized workshops on road transportation on Thursday, 15/3/2018, corresponding to 27/6/1439.
The first is entitled, “Draft regulation governing the practice of cargo transport activity and freight brokers,” while the second one is entitled, “The project of updating the regulation governing the practice of car rental activity and the offices of the leasing brokers.”
The event, which is held at the headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam, is part of the cooperation between the Transport Authority and Asharqia Chamber. The chamber's interest in developing the transport sector is also of great importance in supporting the national economy.
Through these workshops, the Public Transport Authority and the Chamber seek to identify new regulatory developments in the transportation sector, which are expected to witness a significant presence of investors in the road transport sector.
The land transport sector is witnessing new qualitative developments within the vision of the Kingdom of 2030. The most significant step is the establishment of a specialized organization for public transportation that confirms the strategic importance of this sector and its pivotal impact on the overall development process.
