The east chamber represented by the Center Social Responsibility, is doing a new training program on permanency and social responsibility of the companies, will be held on February 23-24 in the chamber building in Jubail Industrial City, from nine o'clock am to noon the second.
The aim of the training program, according to the Secretary General of the East chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel, is to show the extent of correlation between the concepts of permanency and social responsibility down to identify the concepts and its objectives, pointing that a good understanding of the concepts as a first starting point in the development of economic awareness among businessmen of the importance of social responsibility for enterprises and the statement of the pros and cons, and how to be a competitive advantage for the company.
Al Wabel said , the Eastern Chamber has adopted the awareness and spread of knowledge of social responsibility among the business sector in the eastern region,
and that is after in-depth studies that confirmed that corporate social responsibility beside it supporting the community environment, inhabited by the economic entity, also supports the permanency of economic growth of the companies, pointing that the seller and the consumer form one community framework that has to be maintained by them..
Al Wabel stressed that the contemporary challenges pursue us to adopt a new look to the world, through exploration, and stating what it represents of the falters at the level of governments, companies and individuals, pointing that it is required to build partnerships between the private and public sectors and the third sector, so as to carry the social responsibility and future Orientalism to achieve the goals of permanent development, which was approved in 2015.
thus, the training program will include a review of the importance of the permanency and community responsibility for enterprises, stating the third sector dimensions and trends towards institutional permanency , identifying permanency and community responsibility standards, which can be applied in the facilities, in addition to clarifying how to write permanency and Social Responsibility reports as a kind of transparency and revelation, and finally put framework for permanent development in accordance with Islamic vision.
