The Prince of the Eastern Province sponsors the 2024 Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, is sponsoring the 2024 Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition, which is launched by the Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Social Responsibility Center, during the period from September 17-21 at the Dhahran International Exhibitions.

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Chamber, Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Ruzaiza, appreciated the generous sponsorship of His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province for the exhibition, stressing that the sponsorship reflects His Highness’s continued support for the activities and programs of the Chamber, which enables it to continue working in supporting the business sector in the region, and the social programs that it provides to contribute to Community development.

Al-Raziza stressed that the crafts and handicrafts sector is considered a social and economic supporter, pointing to its important role as one of the most important pillars of Saudi Vision 2030 to work to advance and develop the sector and transform it into a more organized sector to be an added value to the national economy, and to contribute positively to the domestic product.

 Al-Raziza explained that the exhibition, which is witnessing a new transformation in its new version in general, organizes the work of these crafts, whether for handicrafts or plastic artists, to develop their capabilities and provide them with the professional, administrative and creative skills necessary to raise the quality of their products by providing them with the opportunity to display their products within the exhibition’s various pavilions and according to channels. Organized marketing that guarantees participants sustainable income and motivates them towards entrepreneurship.

Al-Raziza pointed out that based on the development role of the Asharqia Chamber and to achieve its goals by maximizing the impact of the community contribution of the business sector, and maximizing the performance of entrepreneurship and small and emerging projects through owners of crafts and handicrafts and productive families, through awareness programs and workshops and providing specific initiatives to serve this development sector. The Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition, in its seventh edition, comes as an initiative concerned with creative crafts and handicrafts supervised by civil society organizations in the Eastern Region, and within the Chamber’s plan that aims to continue its efforts aimed at making the owners of these crafts an effective figure within the economies of the Kingdom in general and the Eastern Region in particular. .​
