The Polish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Adam Kolash, opened the Polish catalogue exhibition recently held at Asharqia Chamber. The exhibition was organized by the Chamber in cooperation with the Polish embassy with a number of large Polish companies attending the exhibition.
The exhibition contained a number of catalogs for products in several sectors including tourism, construction, and archaeological attractions in Poland. The opening was attended by the Secretary-General of the Chamber of Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Nueim, and Assistant Secretary-General of the Chamber for Media and Public Relations, Sami Abu Suraih.
The Polish Ambassador and the accompanying delegation met a number of investors and businessmen from the Eastern Region during the exhibition and briefed them on a number of investment opportunities available in Poland. Saudi businessmen also discussed with the Polish embassy officials ways and means of cooperation between Saudi companies and their counterparts in Poland.
Bilateral trade between Poland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 406 million dollars in 2007 with Saudi exports to Poland reaching 200 million dollars and Polish exports to Saudi reaching 206 million dollars. Both governments would like to see an increase in investment and bilateral trade between their respective countries.
