A delegation of members of the Logistics Committee of Asharqia Chamber concluded a visit to the United Arab Emirates last week in order to see the outstanding and leading DP World portfolio (Jebel Ali Port), which is the world's largest port operator.
Jebel Ali Port has become a model of unprecedented development and growth capable of delivering innovative solutions in the fields of logistics work and a leading catalyst for global trade and an integral part of the supply chain around the world.
The delegation, headed by a member of the board of directors and head of the Logistics Committee of Asharqia Chamber Bandar bin Rafi al-Jabri, visited the field container terminal No. (3) in the port of Jebel Ali, and met with Jebel Ali Free Zone Executive Director and General Manager of Dubai Ports World -Emirates Region, Professor Mohammed Al-Moallem, who exchanged talks with the delegation on means of cooperation and coordination to invest in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
He pointed out the strong relationship between the Kingdom and the UAE that reflects the direction and vision of the senior leadership in the two brotherly countries.
During a meeting with DP World officials, the delegation saw a visual presentation that included an overview of the DP World portfolio and the Jebel Ali region with a brief overview of Jebel Ali Free Zone's role in enhancing the effectiveness of the supply chain, as well as a detailed presentation of Dubai Trade Company.
The delegation visited the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Abu Dhabi, Mr. Turki Al-Dakhil, and exchanged talk about investment in the United Arab Emirates and its advantages and the importance of this visit because of its profound and positive impact on the development of relations between the two countries.
At the same time, it reflects the wise leadership's direction in both countries towards achieving growth and development in all political, economic, cultural and social fields.
