The General Authority for Endowments participates as a strategic partner, among the government agencies participating in the Endowments Practices Forum 2022 AD, which is launched by the Asharqia Chamber under the patronage of the Governor of the Eastern Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, under the slogan (Endowment Creativity and Innovation).
The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, said that the forum, which will be held at the Chamber's headquarters on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 AD, will be attended by many institutions and individuals, including specialists, academic expertise, and those interested in the endowment sector. It will discuss many topics related to endowment creativity and innovation, leading to global endowments that contribute to the national economic system, establishing a culture of innovation, foreseeing the future and innovative financial technologies in endowments, in addition to highlighting innovative practices and initiatives in the endowment field and ways of disseminating them to various endowments. To achieve high investment returns and sustainable endowments.
Al-Raziza noted the great interest that the Kingdom attaches to the endowment sector, which stands today in the ranks of the first ranks of our national sectors, stressing that it is a sector characterized by its huge social, economic and cultural returns and contributes strongly to achieving our development goals, which confirms the importance of such a forum in identifying what Everything is new regarding the endowment sector and what the world around us has reached about the development of endowments financially and organizationally.
The Chairman of the Endowments Committee, Ayad Al-Qahtani, said that the Forum presents many topics related to innovation and creativity in the Waqf sector through several working papers submitted by specialists in the Endowments fields. For example, the role of national innovation systems in creating a supportive environment for innovation in the Endowments sector, Innovation laboratories to develop endowment, innovation systems, and their integration into endowments, and Western endowment institutions' practices and experiences in innovative technological and financial innovation as well as the impact of crowdfunding platforms on the sustainability of the non-profit sector, crowdfunding platforms in the sustainability of the non-profit sector, digital solutions, and e-platforms, And many other innovative-oriented topics in various fields of endowments.
Al-Qahtani indicated that the forum is trying to put in the hands of all segments of society in the eastern region the latest creative and innovative methods in the endowment sector, to raise the efficiency of the endowment sector and increase its growth, investments, and spread among the community.
