In its fourth meeting for the year 2018, the Contracting Committee of Asharqia Chamber hosts the CEO of the Construction Industry Institute
On Monday, 22 October 2018, the Contracting Committee of Asharqia Chamber, at its fourth meeting of 2018, hosted Dr. Ali Bin Ali Shash, CEO of the Construction Industry Institute.
The meeting was chaired by the Board Member and Chairman of the Committee, Hamad Bin Hamoud Al Hammad.
Dr. Ali Bin Ali Shash gave a brief overview of the Institute of Construction Industry Institute, its achievements, objectives and future plan to support and develop the research of the construction industry in the Kingdom, as a national industry with a major role in serving the national economy and achieving its goals in diversification and sustainability.
The Committee discussed the workshop outputs, and features of the new government competition and procurement system.
Last week, the Committee discussed the outputs of the workshop "Features of the new government competition and procurement system," which was presented by the Legal Counsel and Head of the Government Competition and Procurement System Development Team at the Ministry of Finance,
Dr. Salim bin Saleh Al-Mutawa.
The Committee also approved the holding of an awareness lecture for entrepreneurs in the region in November.
