The Commercial Committee affirms its keenness to strive towards developing the sector
The Commercial Committee of the Asharqia Chamber affirmed its keenness to seek to develop the commercial sector in the eastern region by monitoring the challenges facing its members while proposing realistic solutions that help advance it.
During the expanded meeting of the commercial sector, organized by the Chamber remotely on Monday, August 23, 2021, The Vice Chairman of the Committee Fouad Al-Mulhim said that the committee is keen to provide everything that helps the sector to perform its tasks and support everything that would develop its activities, in line with the Kingdom's vision 2030.
Al-Mulhim pointed to the tangible and fruitful cooperation and communication shown by government agencies and relevant bodies and institutions with the ideas and proposals of the sector, pointing out that this communication helps the sector to respond to changes and develop the working mechanism in the sector, and also contributes to participating in developing logical solutions to many challenges facing the sector.
Al-Mulhim indicated that the committee contributed during a year to addressing many difficulties in cooperation with the relevant authorities to serve the sector’s employees, believing that positive and constructive communication is capable of contributing to the development of the sector, which is reflected positively on everyone’s performance, calling on the affiliates to communicate with the committee and provide it with all the ideas and proposals that there may be a qualitative leap in the services provided to the commercial sector.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the committee hosted the Assistant Chief Executive Officer for Technical Affairs at the Eastern Region Development Authority, Eng. Badr Al-Sharif, who confirmed the authority’s readiness to cooperate with the private sector by providing consultations and studies that help the sector perform its roles following the requirements of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, pointing to several ideas that It is working to develop the services of the region.
Al-Sharif said that the authority is cooperating with the private sector by motivating it so that it can present a new vision for investing in the future population and economic expansion of the region to be optimally exploited, to be translated distinctly on the ground.
