The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber: The private sector is living its golden age
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, affirmed that the Kingdom has made during the past five years great strides and qualitative achievements at all levels, saying: We live today the fruits of the Kingdom's 2030 vision and feel its results in all the details of our social and economic life. As there are successive achievements at the internal and external levels, and work continues on the level of consolidating the foundations of sustainable development, developing infrastructure, developing society, and providing more job opportunities for the national workforces, pointing to the attention and support that the beloved king and his trustworthy Crown Prince - may God preserve them - gave. And caring for all segments of society, and the clear indications the Kingdom has reached today of progress and advancement in various fields.
Al-Khalidi pointed out that the private sector is living today in a historic stage in the Kingdom, and that since the launch of Vision 2030, which it has relied on and aimed to enhance its role and raise its contribution to the GDP to 65%, it is achieving clear growth rates, which indicates that before 2030, most of the goals of our vision may have been achieved. Especially towards empowering the private sector.
Al-Khalidi indicated that the programs, initiatives, and projects that were launched during the past five years have formed a catalyst for the private sector to play its role in the march of the national economy, such as various financing programs, and great support for small and medium enterprises that represent the core, axis, and focus of the private sector, in addition to Major economic projects, such as the NEOM project, the Red Sea, and many others, which reflected positively on the private sector in its various fields, up to the partner program that was recently launched by His Highness the Crown Prince.
Al-Khalidi said that what the private sector witnessed during these five years of continuous growth and balanced rise was the result of the policies of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trustworthy Crown Prince - may God protect them - which paid great attention to restructuring the national economy, diversifying its sources and activating the roles of all its components, on top of which is the private sector It had the greatest impact in the occurrence of fundamental changes that were positively reflected not only on the private sector institutions and its gains but on the national economy as a whole, praying to God Almighty for success in continuing construction and diversifying the nation's tributaries, reflecting its human and natural capabilities in various fields.
