A delegation of representatives
of the Agricultural, animals and Fisheries Committee in Asharqia
Chamber reviewed the agriculture experience Al Jazeera farm
in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the head of
the project, presented a brief presentation on the farm and agricultural and
food products provided by the farm work.
The
head of the Agricultural, Fisheries and Livestock Committee in Asharqia Chamber
of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Muhamed Nasser Al Dail, said that this visit was to learn
about the Bahraini experiments in plantations of different types, and enhancing
mutual cooperation between the committees work and take advantage of Bahrain
expertise in the food and agriculture sector, expressing his
admiration of the experience of agriculture in the Kingdom, pointing that the
Kingdom of Bahrain has made great progress regarding food and agriculture
sector.
Al
Dail praised the relations between the two countries, which undoubtedly
contributed to the enhancing of the bonds of the economic partnership in all fields,
urging the Bahraini side to visit the Eastern Province Chamber to view the
Saudi farms, hoping to increase cooperation and coordination between the two
parties to serve the food, agriculture and improving a sustainable partnership
between both countries.
Al Dail
concluded by stressing that relations between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain is
historical and deep rooted, as Bahrain has been one of the biggest trading
partners of the Kingdom, saying: (We have an old and continuous relationships
between the two countries, and we hope that the private sector in both
countries play a considerable role to exploiting the available opportunities).
