Asharqia Chamber represented by Telecommunications
and Information Technology Committee sector holds the expanded meeting in the
headquarters of the chamber on Monday, November 28, 2016.
Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the
Committee Ibrahim Muhammed Al Sheikh said that the meeting which will be held
at 10 am, is a distinctive opportunity that gathers employees of the
telecommunications and information technology sector in to get to know the most
prominent achievements of the Committee from the beginning and discussing the
challenges facing the sector in addition to the most important activities of
the Committee which contributes to the improvement of the mechanism of work and
providing support for those working in this vital field.
Al Sheikh said that the committee aims to enhance the
relation with the relevant authorities to try to discuss all the challenges
facing the sector and improve the work of the practitioners of the activity to professionalism.
Al Sheikh said that the Committee of Communications and
Information Technology is an advisory committee working to improve and observe the
mutual interests and the economic institutions operating in the economic sector
in the region, and seeking to achieve more cooperation between workers in the
private sector institutions in the region, and organizing regular meetings to enhance
the concept of partnership, and the exchange of experiences between specialists
and those interested in working to raise awareness and culture through
workshops and specialized lectures, and is also aiming to enhance the mutual
cooperation between the relevant government authorities and the private sector,
and to facilitate the procedures and discuss the obstacles and suggest solutions,
either through visits or hosting meetings, from its vision that reflects distinctiveness
for the progress of telecommunications and information technology sector and
contributes effectively in building the national economy, and its mission in organizing
the telecommunications and information technology sector to present quality
services with professionalism.
The Chamber has allocated the meeting in Sheikh Hamad
Al Gosaibi Hall for men and Al Jazeera hall for women.
Al Sheikh urged the members of the businessmen
sector, investors and interested figures to a seminar titled "Information
Security (responsibility and challenges) to be held Monday, December 7, 2016
for both sexes.
