Sports Investment Committee invites to add sports projects in new schemes
Sports Investment Committee in the Chamber confirmed the importance of identifying the activities proposed for the investment and for establishment in the East area, and to be a part of such schemes in the future. The recent Committee meeting chaired by Chairman Hamoud Abagawi reviewed some proposed activities which could be added to the scheme, to be implemented by the Government agencies concerned in the region to private investors.
On a related level, Committee members discussed the results of the meeting with the Secretary of the Union of cars and motorcycles, and projects presented by the Union of different investment projects, attendees agreed to devote a special session to examine these proposals and monitoring of impediments before them, and the main proposals is to create clubs, motorcycle clubs, the meeting also discussed the idea of raising a study prepared by the Committee on sport investment and constraints to the General Presidency of youth welfare, and discuss some of the proposals contained in the study with officials at the Presidency particularly with regard to the idea of creating a project Auto Club in the region, the establishment of a women's sports and social center in the main cities in the region because there is not any official activity for women, expressing the hope for official support by the Presidency to support these projects related to sport and physical activity.
