A specialized department for the Chamber's Business Settlement
Eastern Chamber plans to create a separate Department for the Strategic Sectors Services under the name (Eastern Center for Business Settlement) reporting to the Economic Affairs Department, serving its mission to support options for resettlement in the national economy. All this took place during Strategic Sector meeting on Tuesday, May 11th, 2010.
Moreover; the Assistant Secretary-General of the Chamber for economic affairsm, Mr.Adel Al Sarami has referred that they went for some consultant's support whom are currently working on the preparation and development of the organizational structure and tasks of the Centre establishment.
Board Members headed by Mr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Zamil has praised the step taken by the Eastern Chamber during their meeting, emphasizing that the national product sponsored by the Committee includes products, services and manpower as well.
Nonetheless; Committee has discussed the issue of private sector cooperation with each other to preserve the interests of all.
The Committee also called for more consideration on the projects on-hold, studying causes of delay and working on resolving it, not leaving the contractor or the National Foundation of the projects to carry it out alone, pointing out that if the mechanism of rehabilitation and the selection by institutions was done in the right way it will contribute on the reduction of the delay cases.
