Social Insurance reviews employer's update systems
The Assistant General Organization for Social Insurance affairs Chairman Abdulaziz bin Hbadan Habdan
stressed the keenness of the institution regarding the integration with the
employers of the private sector, and that the relationship between the
two parties is clear ,our mission is to facilitate conditions for supporting
the private sector to achieve success, so we assured an automatic system saves
the participant and the beneficiary lot of effort and time ..
Habdan who speaks within the "Tamkeen" program one of young
Business Council programs in East Chamber said that the institution created a
wide development in services that is directed to its subscribers and
beneficiaries, amounting to 56 service, even that its mail activity
occupies 94% of the institution's operations.
Habdan During the meeting, which reviewed the updated employer's
social insurance systems, and was attended by Chairman of the Chamber
Abdulrahman bin Saleh Ataishan and Secretary General Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah
Al wabel pointed that the institution has achieved in recent years a
servicing link with all concerned government agencies such as the Ministry of
Labor and the National Information Center, as well as commercial banks, so
visitors to the site reached about 15 million visitors.
And about early retirement Habdan said that early retirement is a
financial burden on the social insurance
system, and that the organization is considering in this matter being
out of the principles of social insurance, which is directed to an individual
who not can not go on anymore, and hence the subject is to be researched in the
institution.
He stressed that the institution is looking for more transparency and
disclosure and publication of financial statements of the institution but
gradually in the future, and we believe that it is the right of others to look
at with what we have and what we offer.
He said that the insurance system does
not differentiate between men and women, but also sometimes it
distinguished the women on the man's, that the age of retirement for women is
55 years, while it is for a man of 60 years, the system permits her to
take full Compensation at once, and this is not available to man, and the
system did not differentiate between women and men if the age of retirement has
come, and if she dies, her children are getting their rights fully of the
from their mother rights, and in the case she gets divorced she goes back to
the salary of her father, also she has the right to combine her salary and the
salary of her husband in case he died.
He stressed that the institution system does not accept the registration of
salary of any beneficiary that is not compatible with income protection system,
what is given as a reward is accounted in the insurance, the actual income
should be the registered income, in order to protect workers' rights the
compensation is different from those who have an income of 5,000 riyals
monthly from those with SR 1000.
He mentioned that the system has given the opportunity for the participants to
register in more than one institution, and the employer can impose the worker
not to work in any other facility, but he does not count in the sectors of the
Ministry of Labor within the Saudization percentages except for the first
employer, given a notification as well, and requires that it will
not exceeds the maximum subscription which 50 000 riyals, and in case the
exceeding happened the Subscribe is divide between the parties, and
this is of course in favor of the first employer.
And regarding the sons of Saudi mother Habdan said that they are given the
social insurance income from the rights of his mother, regardless of
their nationality, not requiring the beneficiary of any nationality as long as
the subscriber is Saudi that holds the national identity, but for the owner of
the individual enterprise, and not associated with a specific job, he could
benefit from the services of the institution through the optional subscription,
he will get the same privileges in the retirement age.
And about the stopping of subscription for the foreign worker during
periods of absence for holidays Habdan said that this is taken in
consideration, but it is only in coordination with other government agencies,
and we are suffering the difficulty in its application and the reason is the
huge number, and about the income modification he explained that the
insurance deals with the modification once a year, and will consider the
issue of the mechanism application of modification for more than once a year.
