Shipping Unit visit the port border guards and review sector challenges
The EastChamber ShippingCommittee reviewedthe most importantchallenges facing thesectorandits membersduringa meeting with theunitlimits ofKingAbdul Aziz Portin DammamWednesday, February 11, 2015at theportof Dammam.
The Committee ChairmanIhabAl-Jassersaid that the meetingwhich was chaired byDirector of the UnitColonelJamanBin SalehAl-Zahranidiscusseda number of issuesthat contributeto the upgrading ofmaritimetransport servicesin the regioncomes, namely:the issuance ofentryportcards,the rise ofthe ships, as well astopermita visit by delegatesshipping linesto the port,and othertopics of interest tothe sectorin general.
AlJassersaidthat theCommittee's visitcomes as part ofits plan, which aims toworkperiodic visitscompetentgovernment departmentsas well asfield tripsin coordinationwith the competent authoritiesand theitemsto discussways to developworkin the sectorand strengthenthe mechanism ofcommunicationwithdepartments andagencies, anddevelop a relationship.
