Seven specialized worksheets displayed in the Eastern commercial Forum of 2013
The "East Trade Forum 2013" organized by the East Chamber on Wednesday, 25/9/2013 will be displaying seven specialized worksheets, provided by a group of experts and specialists, businessmen and Government officials to address a number of issues of interest to the business sector in the Kingdom, eastern province in particular.
The Chamber's Chairman Abdulrahman Al Rashed said to the Forum which is held in the headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the eastern region aimed to highlight the economic vision of the business in the eastern region and to outline the combat commercial fraud and cover-up, beside to overcome common business activities promoting competition in the market for Eastern region between competing sectors. As well as highlight commercial systems and their impact on economic development. The first deals with (internal trade under economic globalization), headed by Professor of management at Dammam University Dr. Saleh Rashid. In addition, the Managing Director Bader Alujan from Al-muhaidib Company will be speaking through the forum about the high world prices and its impact on the local market and electronic commerce at the international level, in addition to the Director of import and shipping company Colgate-Palmolive Arabic Omar Hardan, who speaks in a worksheet flow of traffic of goods in ports and related commercial growth acceleration.
The second session was devoted to a panel discussion to discuss thae concerns of the business sector and the challenges.
The third session dealt with trade regulations and boost competitiveness, which will provide four worksheets, provided by both the Secretary General of the Council for the protection of competition, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qasim (the competition system and its role in strengthening the competitiveness of businesses), and Dr. Osama Al-Qahtani (the role of trade in the development of the national economy),and the Director of the Department of commercial fraud, the Department of trade and industry, Fahad Mohamed hedhili (commercial fraud control mechanisms). The President of the Chamber hoped for the success of the Forum, and to achieve the desired objectives in support of the commercial sector with a set of recommendations that contribute to its development and raising the level of its contribution to the overall development. Confirming the authenticity of the commercial activity in the eastern region, where significant growth is a true reflection of what the trade relation in the Kingdom, which has been moving in an international context, Alrashed also mentioned the business in the East as in the Kingdom despite its originality and its daily progress still facing several challenges and obstacles, so for us as a businessmen dealing with this matter we discuss ways and proposals necessary to sustain this growth, globalization for wider doors and challenges facing our local but national economy in general are phenomena of commercial fraud and cover up , inflation and work to simulate the globalization, and here lies the importance of the Forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce who represented the Commission that's will address these topics and seeks to monitor the ways in and out for solutions, so it will not to be a dilemma for our growing business.
The Trade Commission in the Chamber president Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al Dossary said that's commercial activity in the eastern region is showing successive developments, imposed by geographical and historical realities stemming from the area as the capital of the industry, beside the area occurs on the exchange trade line between Saudi Arabia and the GCC, as well as the ancient trade link with India, Yemen and others, all that we as employees in this sector that we meet to exchange views on the development of this activity and maximizing added value to the national economy, and that's what we hope to achieve Through this forum, organized by the Trade Commission in the East Chamber.
He added that's what make this forum so important that it is under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the eastern region, and a representatives of a number of government agencies. The government is keen on developing trade performance and upgrading it to serve the public in the region. He hoped that the Forum dialogues and discussions at the event level, consistent with the importance of the business in general, and in the eastern region in particular.
