Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber receives Alkuraya
Asharqia Chamber Acting Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel has stressed on the wide aspirations on the strong role of Saudi women in economic and social development in the Kingdom.
Al Wabel has reviewed during his meeting on Wednesday, December 2, 2010 with the Scientist Dr Khawlah Alkuraya , Director of the Department of Human Cancer Genomic Research in Riyadh in which discussing the female role in several areas of development.
Emphasizing also the chamber keen to support women's contribution to the overall development and many initiatives that have been launched for , most important were launching the Women's Economic Forum as well as establishing the Young businesswomen Council to stimulate the economic initiative for the Saudi women and open new business opportunities and overcome challenges faced by.
The two sides agreed upon the importance of strengthening and empowerment of women role in the Kingdom to play major and promising roles in the national economy undergoes by the provision of opportunities for decent work and support by the government to activate the women role in the economic life
