Road transport forum reviews the experiences of strategic sectors and major companies
A number of government strategic sectors and major companies participate in the forum events (road transportation and its role in the national economy), organized by Asharqia Chamber under the auspices of Prince of the Eastern Province, His Royal Highness Prince Sau bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz next Wednesday May 18, 2015.
The Chairman of the Council of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan has appreciated the sponsorship of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Province of the event, saying: We are used to His Highness for his patronage of each chamber events, which comes from his keenness to the public good, and the f continuous follow up of what matters to the country and the citizen, and this was motivating for us to organize more similar events in various areas of interest to the private sector. Ataishan said that the Forum discusses two main axes, that the worksheets, dialogues and debates are about, most prominently: (the role of the transportation sector in economic activity, and the successful experiences in the field of transportation and logistics support), where he will display seven specialized working papers on the two axes, provided by a number of experts, specialists and stakeholders in this regard, coming from a number of governmental and private institutions.
Ataishan pointed that, under the axis (the role of the transportation sector in economic activity), the first session will be held headed by the Chief Executive of ALMajdouie Group, Abdullah bin Ali Almajdouie, during which will be a review of point of view of the Ports institution by its Chairman Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al Amoudi, while His Excellency General Manager of the General organization of Railways, Dr. Rumaih bin Muhammad Al Rumaih reviews through a specialized working paper ""strategies and transportation challenges during the next 20 years,"" seeking through it the look at the image of the future of the sector in the next two decades, based on data from the current reality of life. In the same context, the Chairman of the Public Transport Committee, Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Owhali speaks vision of the RTA to develop the transportation sector, as it sheds light on the plans and projects of the Committee to develop the sector, and raising the level of value for the national economy, and the first session concludes (first axis) with a process of spotting the ""Reality and prospects of the transportation sector "", provided by a member of the Committee of land transportation in Asharqia Chamber Khalid bin Abdul Aziz al Bakri.
In the second session (the successful experiences in the field of transportation and logistic support), headed by a member of the Shura Council (formerly) Ihsan Abdul Jawad, they will be reviewing several important experiments that are (Saudi Electricity Company experience in supporting different transportation sectors) provided by Director of the Logistic Department in company engineer Fathi Al Awami and (the experience educational transportation and its economic effects ) provided by Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al Fedda (from the educational transportation development of services company).
Ataishan hoped of a bigger participation in this forum, by individuals, institutions and companies with a strategic dimension and public authorities, as their participation is considered an addition to the forum, and will serve the overall goal for all, which activate the role of the transportation sector in the Vision 2030 UK, by overcoming the challenges, and openness to development suggestions.
For his part, the member of the board of directors and chairman of the Land Transportation Chamber Bandar bin Rafea Al Jabri said that this forum is one of the events and activities of the Committee of Land Transportation in the Chamber for this year (2016), where the Committee has carried the task of providing the sector with a group of developmental suggestions and recommendations, which we hope to be activated in coordination with all concerned authorities, in recognition of the vitality and importance of transportation in economic life, being one of the sectors that reflect the growth and development in any country, as the is the most important and the supporting of the rest of the sectors of the vital economic sectors such as trade, industry, tourism and health, as well as social and cultural contribution.. explaining that the most important step in this field is the exchange of views, and the openness to all experiences of large companies in this field, so it has hosted a number of major companies with a strategic dimension to offer their experience in the field of transportation.
