Nanotechnology is the key for the support of the economic partnership between the two countries
Requests for the support and development of economic relations between the Kingdom and Argentina
Argentinian Company specializing in nanotechnology applications mentioned the importance of supporting and developing the economic relations between the Kingdom and Argentina, through a number of joint projects that rely on this technique within many industries and services important to the two countries.
Nanotech made a presentation on Monday (26/8/2013) in the main center for the East Chamber in the presence of the President of the trade and consular section at the Embassy of Argentina to the Kingdom Mr. José María Fenner, that nanotechnology can contribute to several important products to Saudi Arabia and Argentine economies of oil industries, textiles, building materials, animal feed, food and otherwise, beside this technique can contribute to soil treatment, and anti-microbial.
During the meeting, the Secretary General of the Chamber Abdul Rahman al wabel was praising the efforts of the Argentine Embassy to explore trade and investment opportunities that support trade and cooperation among investors in both countries. He added that although Argentina is a new trading partner with Saudi Arabia, this friendly country has gained increasing popularity in the market and we hope to increase these exchanges in the future, expressing hope for greater cooperation by Argentine companies to promote products in Argentina and vice versa. He noted that trade between the two countries have improved significantly in recent years, but mostly for Argentina, in 2012, Argentina's exports to Saudi Arabia rose to 3.5 billion riyals, compared with 2.7 billion in the previous year, while Saudi exports to Argentina amounted to 34 million in 2012.
