Prince Saud bin Nayef welcomes the Chairman and members of the Events Fund of Asharqia Chamber
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, welcomed the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber and the Head of the Chamber's Events Fund, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, and the members of the Fund in his office at the Diwan of the Emirate on Thursday 24 May 2018.
There, he was briefed on a report on the most important events that were organized by the Chamber-represented by the Fund- most notably the celebration of the people of the Eastern Region of Eid al-Fitr this year. Asharqia Chamber represented by the Fund organizes this celebration, and it would take place at the General Authority for Sports in Dammam (The Green Arena).
His Highness the Prince of the region emphasized the role of businessmen in the community in the contribution to the region and in the implementation of programs and activities in various specialties, "which they offer as a valuable gift to the people of the region."
He pointed out that the entertainment programs organized by the events fund - which is a budget provided by businessmen to implement these programs - during the holidays and social and national events witnessed a great participation of the people and visitors of the region as they show admiration to many of them.
These activities and events are implemented in a professional manner, taking into account the participation of different groups of society through providing interest and entertainment for Family and Children.
During his meeting with the Chairman and members of the Fund that the activities of the Eastern Region, HH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz said that the Eid holidays provide investment opportunities for the country's citizens and provide field and logistical functions to the citizens, who have proved to be the makers of this event.
In addition, AlKhalidi valued the patronage of HH the Prince of the Region for the Eastern Region's 1439 people's celebration.
He stressed that His Highness's directives are directed towards the development of Asharqia Chamber and provide great support for the search for the new, which suits the ambitions of the Fund's owners and the people of the region and its visitors.
AlKhalidi said that the Chamber and its usual preparations are underway since early this year to organize the celebration and entertainment program that accompanying it.
He pointed out the diversity of activities that would be presented during the Eid and distinguished days. He stressed that the course of work is proceeding according to a long work plan that includes many procedures and coordination with the concerned government bodies in addition to the supporting bodies.
He praised the great roles that are being played every year by all the participants in the working teams in order to make the event a success, which is carried out by all participants from governmental, private, business, and members of the working committees.
AlKhalidi said that the ceremony and events accompanying this year would be implemented in modern ways to suit the target audience in order to achieve a set of goals, notably entertainment and interest and providing prizes for the children and the family and youth as well.
He pointed to various events and competitions hosted by Commercial Shopping Malls.
Al Khalidi emphasized that this year's ceremony is also in line with the aspirations of the event funders to provide a new model for community work by mobilizing the efforts of businessmen and unifying their directions to provide the necessary support for the programs, events and social and humanitarian events of the region, to consolidate the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among all members of society in a manner that would achieve social and economic development in the Eastern region.
