His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region, received the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber and the Head of the Chamber of Events Fund, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, and the members of the Fund on Thursday 24 May 2018.
HH was briefed on a report on the most important events that are organized by the Chamber-represented by the Fund- most notably the celebration of the people of the Eastern Region of Eid al-Fitr this year. It would be organized by Asharqia Chamber represented by the Fund at the General Authority for Sports in Dammam (The Green Arena).
HH praised the role played by businessmen in the community contribution to the region as they support all programs and activities held throughout the year; "this is not surprising to them."
His Highness said that contributing to the support of community programs is one of the most important aspects of solidarity and cooperation between our society and all the honorable people under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince, may God protect them.
His Highness said that the Eastern Region is always a pioneer in providing distinctive ideas in various fields, especially with regard to entertainment.
He stressed the need to come up with various initiatives in the activities of this year's Eid events in order to achieve the desired goals; "first and foremost the happiness of the people and visitors of the region."
He pointed out that the region enjoys a natural tourist attraction represented by marine areas as well as sand dunes that are suitable for all members of the society and family members, which gives the region a different advantage in comparison to other regions.
In addition to that the number of different events organized since the beginning of the year in the waterfront and had a good and a positive impact on the young men and women of the nation. As it is not surprising for the people of the Eastern Region to hold Eid events in a new and different style this year.
Moreover, the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi, seek to achieve the aspirations of the Prince of the region and fulfill them on the ground.
He pointed out that the Eastern Region deserves a lot of tender, as it is ready to receive its people and guests with new activities commensurate with their aspirations and carried out according to high standards, which would be achieved by Asharqia Chamber as usual.
