More than 700 participants applied for committee's membership
Al-Rashid: Such presence reflects the high level of awareness of the economic businessmen
Trade, Industry, Real estate and Contractors Committees Elections will take place next Tuesday and Wednesday
Asharqia Chamber Chairman, Mr.Abdulrahman Al Rashid stated that more than 700
participants have applied for membership of the committees for the chamber 22 committees.
AlRashid thanked all the applicants and ensured that the chamber is keen to involve its subscribers in the process of decision-making and the development of economic sectors in the Eastern region in particular and the Kingdom in general.
According to AlRashid, this demand reflects the extent of interaction of the participants and the high level of economic awareness among businessmen, seen in the large participation in the recent elections, as demonstrated by substantial interaction with the registration process, the chamber closed elections last Wednesday, after two weeks from inviting its subscribers to engage in the committees.
He explained great high demand for committees especially in the 4 committees which are contracting, real estate, industry and trade so that the number of participants exceeded the formation limit which is 25 members, indicating that the chamber elections plans for the four committees on next Tuesday and Wednesday, pointing out that the chamber announced the names of candidates on the chamber website www@chamber.org.sa. AlRashid invited all candidates to review the lists and complete the rest of the applications for the run.
AlRashid praised the subscriber's trust of on the role of the Chamber leadership and support for their interests and excellence in the service of the national economy, stressing its intention to develop all economic sectors, and increasing its role and effectiveness in the national economy.
AlRashid explained the committees programs which involve a number of ideas and proposals that we believe are important to the national economy, including the establishment of general and investment projects t. He pointed out that many of the committees meetings resulted in the establishment of a number of projects, fulfilled in the economic community in the Eastern region in particular, especially if we consider committees goal which discuss and study the concerns and aspirations of the private sector.
