The East Chamber Management Chairman Abdulrahman bin Saleh Alotaishan announced that the number of subscribers in the East Chamber has reached (46.394) joint, until the end of 2014 fiscal year, at a time when the Chamber has achieved a major expansion in subscribers in the cities , provinces and centers service area, where the number of centers and branches has reached (16branch and centers), covering all areas of the eastern region.
He said, during the East Chamber general assembly he presided over at the evening (Tuesday, 07/04/2015) in the presence of a number of members of the Chamber General Assembly and in the presence of customers and commercial and industrial chambers management director at the Ministry of Trade and Industry Yahya Al Azzan.
The Assembly concluded the approval of the estimated budget for the new fiscal year 1436/1437 AH, the content of its articles of expenses and revenues, monitored by the plans of the various Chamber sectors, and the Assembly have been through reviewing the report of the Board of Directors on the activity of the Chamber during the fiscal year 2014 and the review of the Work Program and Budget for the Financial yearReport 2015 and the chartered accountant and final accounts for the financial year 2014.
Alotaishan explained that those achievements over the past year referred to the cooperation between the Governing Council and the Secretariat, and all business sectors to service subscribers, and the development of the business environment in the region, raise the performance of the national economy, indicating that the current year's budget in 2015 carrying a number of capital projects approved estimated by $ 17 millionReal.
Alotaishan raise his sincere thanks and his appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, for the unlimited support for the Chamber and the business sector all, also thanked all government and private departments and agencies, , which have persisted and cooperated with the Chamber in many projects.
Alotaishan said that government departments interact with what organized by the Chamber events and their response to their advancing recommendations and proposals, they helped the sector to achieve many of its programs, and they were supportive of its mission and objectives, also the President of the Chamber praised highly the role of the Chamber subscribers interacting with what the Chamber poses of initiatives and projects, praisingthe roles undertaken by the Secretariat and the Chamber executive where all the male and female employees who fought to achieve the Chamber message and seek to achieve its strategic goals.
From his part, Abdul Rahman bin Fawzan Ahumain the Secretary-General in charge presented the achievements of the Chamber during the 2014 fiscal year as the number of certificates of origin for re-export issued by the chamber (20 672) certificate, as the number of commercial permits competitions (2393) 2014 permit.
In the East Chamber services for the development of the economies of the region in the field of information and research services more than (50) study and research prepared, and a working paper specialized, and more than (5) visuals in variable economic subjects were provided , Chamber subscribers provided more than (4000)booklet and printed versions of publications, in addition to the issuance of more than (30) economic report on trade relations between the kingdom and a number of countries, the issuance of (4) Economic Bulletin of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In the area of legal services and consulting the number of beneficiaries of the legal advice provided by the Chamber to its subscribers during 2014 amounted to about 642 beneficiaries, including (267) telephone consultation, and (375) to consult a personal presence, as has been the preparation and drafting and auditing (68) contractagreement and Chamber memorandum of understanding, and the number of protest issues (23) and one issue was settled, while the total number of trade issues (23) (7 cases) case was settled ,and the number of arbitration cases (7 cases) (2) was ended.
In the area of the East Chamber services to support the localization of jobs and the Saudization of the private sector (training and rehabilitation services), the number of trainees in training center was (861) trainees, also (50) training activity have been implemented, also the completion of the training project of (240) Saudis trainees within "Human Resources official development "program, was also in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) for training (12) for a full month per set, with a total of 200Saudi trainees, and (40) Saudi female intern.
In the East Chamber recruitment center ,the East Chamber recruitment center systems organized (14) meeting for the recruitment in collaboration with a number of facilities, and the number of job seekers participating in the meetings of employment (about 12.687) job seeker, and the number of beneficiary enterprises from Career Center Services reached (1,887) facility, while the total number of job opportunities that were provided (7,800) career opportunity, as the total number of exhibitions and forums that employment Reviewed by about (12) exhibition.
