Lawyers Committee looks at the new procedures in the Commercial Court in Dammam

           The Chairman of the Committee of Lawyers and Legal Advisors in Asharqia Chamber Khalid bin Abdul Latif Al Saleh said that the commercial judiciary is an important and safe haven for the success of the economic environment and the protection of funds and rights.
Al Saleh said in a recent visit to the President of the Commercial Court in Dammam, at the new court, Sheikh Dr. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al Hamam, that the specialized judiciary is working on the stability and growth of the economic movement and thus contribute to the provision of economic climate based on confidence and encourage investment in the Kingdom and promote economic development commensurate With the objectives of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
   Al Saleh said that the Commercial Court will be competent to consider all disputes between traders or merchants that are brought against the merchant due to his business and will be competent to deal with all cases related to commercial regulations and other jurisdictions provided for in Article 35 of the Shari'a Law.
   Al Saleh pointed that this is a part of the activities of the committee, which calls for a close knowledge of the new procedures and the jurisdiction of the commercial courts, adding that the establishment of the Commercial Court in Dammam would contribute to expediting the adjudication of commercial cases and disputes.
   He pointed that the committee is keen to cooperate and communicate with the Commercial Court in order to simplify the procedures and submit proposals related to the development of the commercial judiciary to expedite the adjudication of cases and activate arbitration as a mechanism for resolving commercial disputes between the parties to the dispute.
