Launching the self-service device for classifying establishments in the Asharqia Chamber
Yesterday, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at the Asharqia Chamber building, a self-service device was launched to classify facilities through the Baladi platform as the first room in the Kingdom through which the owner of the facility was able to obtain many electronic services, including the service of classification of city services operators, which is adopted by the Agency for Regulating City Operators in the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and housing, in order to develop performance and to achieve compatibility between self-possession and the level of government projects available.
This came at the main Asharqia Chamber building in Dammam, as the service was launched in the presence of the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, member of the Board of Directors, The Chairman of the Contractors Committee, and Chairman of the National Committee for Contractors in the Council of Saudi Chambers Hamad bin Hammoud Al-Hammad, and this service is directed to the construction sector, It facilitates the work of the Saudi contractor in implementing projects, obtaining the necessary licenses to start work, and ensuring all his dues within the necessary conditions for any project.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber Abdul-Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi considered the launch of this platform, and the presence of this auxiliary body to achieve the issue of classification sought by contractors, a promising step to support the contractor's sector, honoring the distinguished and capable and providing the opportunity for those who are less than that, to provide classification conditions. He stressed that this was an important requirement for the contractor's sector, and as long as workshops and recommendations were held in this regard, the concerned authorities responded to this demand after studying, scrutinizing, and taking the views of the private sector. And his practical history in this regard.
As for the member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Contractors Committee and Chairman of the National Committee for Contractors in the Council of Saudi Chambers, Hamad bin Hamoud Al-Hammad, he confirmed that our country today is more like a workshop that involves dozens of projects, which require certain specifications in the implementers of those projects, especially since they are of varying size and level. It is noteworthy that the "Baladi" portal was launched in cooperation with the various municipal sector bodies, to be the national portal in support of the municipal community. In the current stage, this portal includes three main services: interactive services that help enhance the concept of community partnership to improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, electronic services that help submit electronic applications to obtain the most used licenses, and information services that help beneficiaries make decisions related to including Contributes to improving the level of satisfaction with the municipal sector entities.
By providing these services, the "Baladi" portal aims to improve the quality of the level of municipal services provided to all municipalities and municipalities of the Kingdom, activate the role of beneficiaries as active partners, improve their level of satisfaction and enhance the level of transparency among the municipal sector entities.
