Land Transport Committee praised the cooperation with Eastern Region Traffic Department
Al Wadaai: A Study of the issuance and renewal of driving licenses through ATMs
Land Transport Committee in Asharqia Chamber has recently met with Eastern Region Traffic Department representative Sir Ahmed bin Hamed Al Wadaai.
Committee was chaired by the Chamber Vice Chairman Fahad Abdullah Al Shuria indicating that the meeting raised some important points have been discussed with Al Wadaai who stressed that many of the transactions are implemented more promptly when they are complete.
According to Al Wadaai who said that officials direction in the future to in the matter of issuance and renewal of driving licenses by ATMs, making it easier on a citizen and a resident ;yet the subject of renewing the driver's licenses is now available as desired by the person as well as the payment of traffic violations, if any, on the owner or the Commissioner...
The meeting discussed the effect of car accidents in blocking and disruption of traffic, where Al Wadaai said that the problem occurs when both of car owners stands in the accident scene and cannot be moved, while allowing the simple accidents which do not result in injuries or damage to move from the accident site and stand in a safe place and thus open the way and for others to avoid disorder in the scene.
