Privatization and
partnership between the private sector and government institutions have been
discussed greatly during the meeting of the delegation of the Chamber of
Commerce of Asharqia in Khafji and the Mayor of Khafji Muhammed bin Hazam Al Humaidani.
The
meeting, which was held at the municipality headquarters on May 9, 2017, was
chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Muhammed Bin Sulaiman Al
Belwi. The delegation discussed the development of the industry and providin it
with the main services of lighting and paving roads, In
order to benefit the province, and providing areas of work for investors, and
job opportunities for Saudi youth.
The
two parties stressed the importance of offering the distinctive investment
lands in the city of Khafji, stressing that it is a fertile ground for the
establishment of a series of added value projects.
The
meeting reviewed some of the features of the of the Kingdom vision (2030),
especially those that motivate the concept of partnership between the public and
private sectors and the services that could be nominated for privatization.
