Intensive preparations for the organization of the "Contracting Forum 2019 '' beginning of December
The Eastern Province Chamber continues its preparations to launch the 2019 Contracting Forum, which is organized on the fourth of December next under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, with the participation of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment and Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in charge of Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, in addition the representatives of a number of government departments and institutions concerned, and prominent private sector institutions. And a number of experts and specialists in this regard, businessmen, engineers, and consultants.
The Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khaldi said that the forum is being held in an accurate and optimistic conditions, represented by the enormous data generated by the Kingdom's Vision 2030 projects. 2030), will discuss strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors, and the role of labor policies and legislation in support of the sector, the role of large companies in enhancing the performance of the sector, the reasons for the stalled projects and proposed solutions.
Al Khaldi added that the forum will discuss in its second axis entitled (regulatory frameworks in the empowerment of the contracting sector), which will be examined and discussed a number of important topics and related to the axis, including the impact of financing, classification, training, and qualification on the performance of the sector.
Al-Khaldi stressed that the contracting sector is a major partner for public government institutions in the implementation of giant national projects, and has the necessary capabilities that make it trustworthy, and pushes him to look forward to more support, care and empowerment so that he can develop his tools, rooting his experience, and raise the efficiency that qualifies him to deal with projects Massive development, having achieved all the vision requirements with high levels of performance and effectiveness.
Alkhaldi said that the contracting sector - in line with many developments - finds itself interested in achieving all the requirements of Vision 2030, so it does not spare no effort to provide all the possibilities and tenders that meet those requirements, and puts it in confidence, and provides high-quality products that have an impact on public life Economic and Social in the Kingdom.
For his part, the Board Member and Chairman of the Chamber's Contracting Committee Hamad bin Hamoud Al Hammad appreciated the patronage of His Highness the Prince of the Eastern Province of the Forum, which is part of the activities of the Committee for the current year 2019, which witnessed the distinguished participation of investors in the sector, including investors, engineers, consultants, and representatives of government agencies directly related to the sector. Here lies the importance of this forum and the topics that will be discussed through it, which we hope will contribute to the service of the sector with a number of proposals and recommendations that help it and confirm its effectiveness in the economic life of our beloved country.
Al-Hammad pointed out that Asharqia Chamber had already set up other versions of this forum, which were positive according to the period I discussed, as they focused on projects and ways to preserve them from the obstacle of stumbling and stopping, and reviewing the factors behind this, other than this forum, which is held there is no way for stopping, as well as the high level of quality required by new projects adopted by the country's leadership in accordance with Vision 2030, which raised slogans of “competitiveness, transparency, quality and speed”, which means that the current challenges are different from the previous one.
