Hadaf: The Eastern achieves a high rate of employment and resettlement rates
Samer Al Rayyan, Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) explained to the client sector that the labor market indicators in the eastern region are proceeding with a positive trend, in many indicators, the most prominent of which is the increase in the number of Saudis in the labor market during the past year 2019, in addition to the high percentage of institutions ’outputs Educational and training has found a position in the labor market.
Al-Rayyan said in a working paper presented during a workshop organized by the Employment Center at the Asharqia Chamber on Monday 10 February 2020, under the title (The National Observatory of Labor ... Labor Market Indicators in the Eastern Region) that the unemployment rate throughout the Kingdom reached 12 the % last year 2019.
He pointed out that the workforce in the entire eastern region that entered the labor market has increased by 17% and that 11% of graduates of institutes and universities in the eastern region have obtained jobs within 6 months of their graduation, while 6% of graduates have joined the labor market before Six months have passed.
He mentioned that a number of educational and training institutions in the eastern region have achieved high levels of employment such as the Jubail Industrial College, 90% of its graduates have been employed, while the employment rate of graduates from other universities and colleges varied between 10-20%, and this activity comes within activities The Employment Center at Asharqia Chamber.
