In the presence of the President of the Chamber and a large number of businessmen, the Governor of Khafji inaugurates the project of Asharqia Chamber's building in the province.
Al-Otaishan: The project enhances the service of the Chamber for Businesses in the Eastern Province.
In the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Atishan, a number of the Chamber's Board members, a number of members of Al Khafji Business Council, and the Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabil, the Governor of Al Khafji (Mohammed bin Sultan Al Hazza) inaugurated the building of Asharqia Chamber in Khafji on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. The building is located on King Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Road.
Al-Hazza praised the efforts exerted by Asharqia Chamber to support the business sector in the Eastern Region in general and Al-Khafji Governorate in particular. He said that the new building, with its services and equipment, is a new start to support the services offered to investors through providing advisory services and development services to the business sector.
The President of the Chamber appreciated the support of Al-Khafji Governorate for working on the branch/building. He pointed out that the building of Asharqia Chamber in Khafji was aimed at raising the level of services directed to the participants and subscribers in the province. He also complemented the Chamber's efforts to expand its geographic reach in order to facilitate its customers in various governorates of the region. He considered the new building as a real opportunity to support the business sector in the province and to provide services to the subscribers. He stressed the readiness of Asharqia Chamber and its permanent support to the economic initiatives that are adopted by the business sector in Khafji Governorate.
Al-Otaishan added that Asharqia Chamber pays special attention to its subscribers in various branches, and always strives to be more effective in providing its services. He believed that the new branch, which is located on an area of 3000 square meters, would meet the aspirations of the participants in the province, which is a vital link between the GCC, and an important economic artery. He stressed that the presence of an integrated service building for Asharqia Chamber in Khafji would serve the economic sector in a manner that is commensurate with the major economic transformations that the Kingdom is undergoing. Moreover, it would contribute to facilitate the services provided to businessmen, fulfills the hopes and aspirations of the Chamber's subscribers in the Governorate of Khafji, and adds more positive atmosphere to the economic movement in the province. He pointed out that the opening of the new building reflects the development of the Chamber's performance and its expansion in the Eastern Region. It is also a reflection of the state of growth and development of the private sector and its institutions in the region.
The new building consists of three floors and a parking area. It has a number of meeting, training, waiting and mixed-use rooms, as well as administrative offices and nearly six certification offices. It also has offices for the Ministry of Labor and another one for the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
