Google Saudi Arabia Developers Community Discusses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Business
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Communications and Technology Committee, in partnership with the Google Cloud Saudi Developers Community, organized on Sunday, November 17, 2024, a meeting of Google experts at the DevFest Developers Festival, which is being held for the first time in the Eastern Province, in the presence of the Chamber’s Board Member and Chairman of the Communications and Technology Committee, Nasser bin Rashid Al-Bajash Al-Hajri. The meeting witnessed the participation of a remarkable number of specialists and technicians, as the meeting presented a group of specialists in this field and discussed the latest trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and web and mobile application development, highlighting Google Cloud Platform services and how to benefit from them in building cloud applications, and motivating developers and technicians to learn and communicate through one community. They also called for following up on developments in this field on an ongoing basis. For his part, Nasser bin Rashid Al Bajash Al Hajri, a member of the Chamber's Board of Directors and Chairman of the Communications and Technology Committee, stated that this meeting, which is being held for the first time in the Eastern Province, is an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the field of technology and how to apply them. It also provides an opportunity to communicate directly with Google experts and ask questions and inquiries about various technical topics, and build strong relationships with other developers from around the world. It also provides many workshops and lectures that help participants develop their technical skills. Al Hajri explained that such meetings contribute to developing the technical environment and enhance the ability of young people to innovate and compete by raising the level of awareness of technology, and this is what we witnessed through the interaction of the attendees with the event, which confirms the importance of the content provided and the vitality present among the participants and speakers. This is what we also witnessed through the positive ideas and proposals presented during the meeting. Al-Hajri pointed out that they in the Communications and Technology Committee of the Eastern Chamber seek to strengthen the relationship between the committee and investors and entrepreneurs to serve and develop the various economic sectors in the Eastern Province, sponsor and support the common interests of the business sector, and explore growth and investment opportunities for economic establishments through meetings and cooperation between business owners, and enhance, develop and encourage youth and employers and connect them with each other. It is noteworthy that the meeting witnessed the highlighting of experiences and scientific papers in the fields of regulating artificial intelligence and privacy in Saudi Arabia, building mobile applications efficiently and scalably, cloud computing, cloud technology, software, and a workshop entitled Control and Training of Large Language Models of Gema.
