French Companies Looking to Form Partnerships in Nuclear Energy
Asharqia Chamber's chairman Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Rashid stated that there are many available opportunities to establish partnerships in the field of nuclear energy between Saudi and French companies, adding that the two countries signed an agreement in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy which paved the way for further cooperation and brought French technology expertise to the Kingdom.
Al Rashid said in a speech during the meeting of high-level French delegation with businessmen in the region, organized by Asharqia Chamber yesterday, Wednesday, May 15, 2013, that the fields of specialization of the business delegation, which include renewable energy, engineering, construction, industrial maintenance, cooling systems, hydraulic equipment, electric appliances, project management, consulting and engineering services will see a bright future in the Kingdom, especially in the Eastern Region, which is considered the industrial capital of the Gulf as it represents more than half of the total industrial investments in the Kingdom.
