Experts call for Modern Mechanisms and New Forms for Training Programs
"The Importance of Training for Economic Development" seminar called for organizing and developing training sector based on the importance of human role in development.
The seminar stressed on the importance of forming a real partnership between private and public sectors and on forming a national strategy for training in cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the link between training outputs and domestic job market needs and to keep up with economic growth in the kingdom.
Dr AbdulRahman bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabiah, Head of Training Committee at Asharqia Chamber, explained in a working paper entitled "National Economy & Reality of Training" that the Kingdom is witnessing a great rise and development in all sectors (industrial,constructional, commercial, educational and social) which confirms the importance of training personnel to keep up with this growth.
In addition, Dr.Muhammad ibn Muhammad Bajunaid,Assistant Professor in teaching, learning and human resource development at the Institute of Public Administration in Dammam, presented a working paper on "The Effect of Training on Economic Development .. an Attempt to Treat the Weakest Link in Training Process".
Furthermore,Dr.Adel bin AbdulMohsen Aladhwahi, Head of DepartmentofTrainingand Scholarship ofDirectorate of Education – Eastern province, spoke on(Educational Training and its Role in Sustainable Development). As forAbdulGhani bin AbdulJalil Al Rumaih,CEO of TAFE Arabia Technical And Further Education, he spoke on(Role of Training in Development). Moreover, working papers on (Training and Saudi Job Market Needs) and (Training and Job Market Needs) have been presented.
