Environment Committee discussed the Eastern Chamber classification professions
The Environment Committee discussed several topics of interest to the East Chamber private sector during the Tuesday meeting 3 September 2014 highlighted in the classification of occupations in the Ministry of labor. The Chairman Talal AlRashid who chaired the meeting said that the issue of the classification of occupations was the fact that the Ministry of labor does not have a specialized environmental titles causing conflict of requirements for Ministry with professional requirements for meteorological and environmental protection and that the classification of occupations contribute to private sector development in view of the urgent need for it. AlRashid said that the meeting reviewed the Committee's role in environmental awareness to reduce pollution; also he said that members had discussed the details of a workshop on investing in e-waste, which will be held in the second quarter of next year.
